*This session is free for all  New York City Pharmacists members.

This activity will address adult immunization recommendations including recent updates from the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP), coverage rates, and Immunization standards. In addition, this activity will help pharmacists identify evidence-based strategies to implement into clinical practice and provide training in use of the Citywide Immunization Registry (CIR) and its features to improve adult immunization administration and reporting.

 This activity will not provide certification as an immunizer and is intended for those already certified to immunize.

Learning Objectives: 
At the completion of this activity, the participant will be able to:

· Explain adult immunization recommendations for 2016;

· Report evidence-based strategies to implement into clinical practice to improve immunization rates;

· Describe the Citywide Immunization registry (CIR):

            > Features

           > Ease of use

           > How to improve adult immunization administration and reporting.
