2014 Legislative Session

We Won the fight against NYS DOH AAC & Co

On Wednesday, January 15, 2014 a joint effort between PSSNY, NYCPS and the Indo-American Pharmacists Society brought together more than 500 pharmacists to become aware of the results and to understand the action that had be taken. We launched a grassroots campaign that resulted in thousands of letters emailed and faxed to NYS legislators from across the state. This was just the beginning.  Click here to read more.


2013 Legislative Session – Bills that Passed

PSSNY Fights the NY Attorney General to Strengthen NYS Law Against Mandatory Mail Order

PSSNY enjoyed a resounding legislative victory in 2011 when members of the NYS Assembly and Senate voted for a bill that would guarantee that consumers i NY in the private insurance market would always have an option to utilize a local pharmacy.
