Membership Types
Active Membership
Actively practicing pharmacy. Eligible to vote, hold elective office, nominate officers and make or second motions.
Associate Membership
Any individual not eligible for active membership but who has a beneficial or substantial economic or professional interest in pharmacy. This includes Pharmacy Technicians, Manufacturers, Sales Representatives, etc. Associate members shall have all the privileges of active membership except the right to vote, hold elective office, nominate officers or make or second motions.
Retired Pharmacist Membership
Pharmacists who (1) have attained the age of 65 and are either retired or actively engaged in pharmaceutical practice and who (2) have accrued five successive years of active membership in the Society shall be eligible for senior active membership at a 50% reduction of the annual dues for active membership. Eligible to all the privileges of active membership including the right to vote, hold elective office, nominate officers and make or second motions.
New Practitioner
For pharmacists who have graduated from pharmacy college within the last 4 years; pay a graduated dues amount.
Student PSSNY
Currently in school with valid identification. Student PSSNY members who also wish to receive the quarterly PSSNY Journal will be charged and additional $40.
Institutional Member
Schools and Universities who wish to join PSSNY at the group rate can invite faculty to join under their master account. Please contact PSSNY's central office for more information, 800-632-8822.
