The Pharmacists Society of the State of New York is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmacy education.

 

Learning Objectives:

 

At the completion of this activity, the participant will be able to:

·        Identify black box warnings (BBW) that may impact patients with neurologic and psychiatric disorders;

·        Define the role of BBW in whole medication management;

·        List and recommend alternate strategies to ensure optimal patient safety when developing/monitoring regimens with BBW warnings.

    

 

Disclosure will be made on the day of the program regarding any interest or affiliation a speaker may have with a supporting organization.

All participants will have the opportunity to evaluate the educational session(s) and presenter(s) as well as the ability to identify their future educational needs.

 

To receive credit for this program, participants must complete the sign-in sheet and complete the online evaluation. Information will be sent to CPE monitor within 20 days of the conclusion of the program.
